IMTA is an intensive and highly interactive two-week program. Week 1 focuses on the common issues related to general aspects of management education, with a special emphasis on the use of the case method. It also deals with the requirement and skills related to the multiple role of faculty. The innovations in management development are discussed in the context of the use of IT, project based education, integration of arts, culture and other non-managerial disciplines.

Week 2 in IMTA 2009 is structured into four disciplinary tracks: Finance, Marketing, Leadership and Change Management, and Strategic Management.
